Chrome extensions are life savers
Although some extensions were listed above, here are some "must have" chrome extensions if you are a Google user. I love that extensions are in the background ready for you to use when you need them...just look at your toolbar!
- bit.ly - my favorite URL shortener. Create an account and you can customize your short URL
- Scribl - annotate, bookmark, share, cite and more with this great extension
- Grammarly - online grammar and spelling checker. It also recommends improved writing styles
- SmallPDF - Edit, convert, merge, split and compress PDF files
- Dualless - Split your screen into to windows. Great for being productive in video meetings
- Bitmoji - Create your avatar to go into any document or email.
- Keep - Save the website to a new Keep note
- Create a Google Jam - Quickly create a space in Jamboard
- Kami - Annotate your pdfs online
- Cite This for Me - simply put, this extension creates a citation for whatever format you need
- Popsicle sticks - random student name picker. You can create multiple classrooms as well
